How many persons are needed to form a company?
A minimum of one (1) person is needed to form an IBC and a minimum of 2 persons are needed to form a BC.
How long does it take to incorporate a company in The Bahamas?
Approximately 24-72 hours.
When are annual company fees due?
Annual fees are payable to the Registrar General of The Bahamas on 1st January of each year.
What happens for non payment of annual fees? (IBC)
The company will be struck off and dissolved.
Do IBCs pay taxes in The Bahamas?
IBCs do not pay taxes, however they do pay registration and annual fees to the government.
Are Registered agents necessary?
Yes, each IBC must have a licensed registered agent.
